Set in a 30 year old Amla orchard near Dausa, Rajasthan, 922 Emblica Estate is 65 acres of farmland that was never cleared, only listened to. The trees and the biodiversity came first. Everything since has been arranged around them.

Delhi NCR is 2.5 hours away via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, close enough to return to and far enough to forget. Between the two lies a quieter register of days.

The Orchard

Mornings begin in shade. Light move slowly through the amla canopy; the air stays clean throughout the year.

Each Estate parcel, from 860 sq. yd. to 3600 sq. yd. sits among mature trees rather than beside them, held, not bordered.
